Celebrating 40 Years of Protecting Life

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 7, 2013

[Houston, TX] Texas Right to Life’s 16th annual Celebration of Life, set for Friday, September 13, 2013, promises to be a wonderful evening of celebrating Pro-Life champs.

Along with Governor Rick Perry, Attorney General Greg Abbott, emcee Representative Bryan Hughes, and a sold-out crowd, Texas Right to Life will commemorate 40 years of dedicated service to the women and unborn children of Texas.

Governor Rick Perry will be honored for his decades of advocating Pro-Life legislation in Texas.  State Senator Glenn Hegar (R-Katy) and State Representative Jodie Laubenberg (R-Rockwall) will be recognized for their passage of House Bill 2 in the 2013 Legislative Session.

We are honored to be joined by Norma McCorvey, Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade, Ann Hettinger of Center for the Preservation of the American Ideal, and our friends from the Susan B. Anthony List.

Three founding board members of Texas Right to Life will also be in attendance; they are Mrs. Poppy Doyle, Mrs. Suzanne Reynolds, and now President Dr. Joseph Graham.

As Texas Right to Life marks 40 years as the leading Pro-Life organization in Texas, we are honored by the support and dedication of people all over Texas who allow us to stand for Life.
