Roland Gutierrez voting record

Anti-Life Democrat Roland Gutierrez is once again trying to promote himself from the Texas House of Representatives to the Texas State Senate, having previously run unsuccessfully in 2018. During his twelve years in the Texas House, Gutierrez has established himself as a pro-abortion radical, never scoring above a 0% on the Pro-Life scorecard.

Gutierrez is challenging Pro-Life Republican incumbent Pete Flores–the first Republican elected to represent Senate Distict 19 in over 100 years. The people of SD 19 are largely Hispanic, Catholic, and culturally conservative. But Gutierrez’s far left voting record reflects the values of someone running for office in San Francisco. Below is a comprehensive list of every anti-Life vote Gutierrez has cast since 2011.

Roland Gutierrez Pro-Abortion Record:

  • Voted for late-term abortions at least 12 times since 2011.
  • Refused to protect babies who survive abortion, The Born-Alive Infant Protection Act. Gutierrez registered as “present, not voting.”
  • Voted for using taxpayer dollars to buy and sell body parts of aborted children.
  • Voted in favor of dismemberment abortion, a procedure where preborn children are torn limb from limb.
  • Opposed investigations into the abuse of children.
  • Voted to give taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood rather than autism programs, Mental Health Services for Children, EMS and trauma care, Early Childhood Intervention programs, Deaf-Blind Multiple Disabilities programs, and the STAR At-Risk Youth program.
