Update on Senate Bill 5

Unfortunately, after a few hours of deliberation, Lieutenant Governor Dewhurst confirmed that SB 5 is dead.  They were unable to vote on the bill and have it signed before midnight due to the angry mob of protestors in the Senate gallery.

Regardless of the outcome, we knew our work would not be over.  Ultimately, we should be encouraged that we had the votes and that so many came to support the bill.  We will continue to work to pass Pro-Life legislation that protects women and saves lives in Texas.
