Essay Contest participants must:

1) Double space their essay;

2) Number all pages;

3) Use no smaller than 12 point font;

4) Use a cover sheet that includes; full name, full mailing address, phone number, grade level, student date of birth, parent’s name and word count;

5) Cite any sources used;

6) And not include artwork, pictures, or plastic covers.

By submitting an entry, the contestant and parent or guardian agree:

A: To allow Texas Right to Life to publish the winning essay,

B: To allow Texas Right to Life to submit the essay, whether it places or not, to the National Right to Life Pro-Life Essay Contest and,

C: That the essay is original and not copyrighted.
