Scott Bowen: A Pro-Life Leader Who Gets the Job Done
When you vote for state rep., you’re choosing someone who will speak up for your values in Austin. You want someone who won’t sit quietly when something important is at stake.
Scott Bowen has shown that he’s that kind of leader.
Bowen has been involved in his community for years. He’s not new to this. As a member of the State Republican Party Executive Committee, he helped write and pass resolutions that clearly stood for protecting unborn babies and supporting mothers. He worked to make sure the party’s platform stayed strong on these issues.
But what really matters is what he did when things got tough.
After a key bill aimed at stopping abortion pills was shut down last May, Bowen didn’t shrug and move on. He helped draft a formal resolution urging Governor Greg Abbott to call a special session and give the bill another chance.
That took effort. It took persistence. And it worked.
Governor Abbott added the bill to the special session agenda, and in September 2025, it finally passed.
While Texas Right to Life led the coalition urging action, the Republican Party’s official support wouldn’t have happened without Bowen’s steady leadership behind the scenes. He didn’t just talk about caring — he rolled up his sleeves and got to work.
If you want someone representing House District 129 who is willing to step up, speak out, and follow through, Scott Bowen has already shown you he will.
Early voting ends on February 27. Election Day is March 3.
When you cast your vote, remember: leadership isn’t about big speeches. It’s about doing the hard work when it counts.
