Protect or Destroy? The Race for Pro-Life Values in Education

Tiffany Nelson is the Pro-Life candidate for State Board of Education District 6. She’s a proven servant leader with real experience in public education—and she’s ready to bring that knowledge to the powerful State Board of Education.

Nelson currently serves as a trustee for Conroe ISD, the same district where all of her children attend school. In that role, she stood up against radical gender ideology and helped stop pro-abortion material from being pushed into the classroom.

Her opponent, on the other hand, has worked AGAINST preborn babies. Barbara Denson publicly opposed Pro-Life efforts, lobbying the Republican Party of Texas to strip Pro-Life values from the platform. She wants Republicans to give up on saving children from abortion. Her group claims the abortion issue hurts Republicans in elections—even though Pro-Life Republicans continue to win across Texas.

At the 2024 Republican Party of Texas convention, Denson testified, saying that “abortion [is] the only issue on which the Democrats win.” She also stated that “if and when [Republicans] lose,” it would be the fault of Pro-Life advocates who want to protect preborn children.

Tiffany Nelson believes education plays a critical role in making America Pro-Life again. Many people simply aren’t informed about the reality of abortion or the humanity of preborn children. Texas needs robust education about human Life before birth to build a strong base for our Pro-Life culture. We also need pro-family education, especially about adoption. Many pregnant girls never consider it as an option because they think their babies will end up in foster care.

Our Pro-Life beliefs should shape Texas education. Denson’s record shows she’ll work against that. Tiffany Nelson, on the other hand, is committed to saving babies from abortion and promoting family values.

In a crowded 2026 election, this race is easy to overlook—but it matters. Pro-Life Texans must reject politicians who are willing to abandon core values and instead support leaders who will stand firm.
