High school girl reports being forced into abortion at high-profile abortion mill

911 dispatch records indicate that a high school girl faced the possibility of a forced abortion inside of a high-profile Kansas abortion mill.

Dispatchers received a call from the concerned mother of a young girl who said that the girl’s father and grandmother were forcing her to undergo an abortion against her will at South Wind Women’s Center in Wichita.  South Wind is the former home of late abortionist George Tiller, who was notorious for regularly committing extremely late-term abortions.

Tiller’s gruesome work has been assumed by a young abortionist, Cheryl Chastine, who told Rolling Stone last month that abortionists are unfairly characterized as wanting to provide the “lowest standard of care that we can get away with.”  But the police report following that concerned 911 call reveals that South Wind’s “standard of care” includes barring police from accessing the facility to assess the well-being of the young girl in question.

LifeNews shares excerpts of the police report, which reveal that the abortion mill obstructed their investigation into the girl’s welfare.  Officer Atlee Vogt reported:  “Upon arrival I contacted the director who advised she was aware of the situation but that there was not a situation.  She refused to acknowledge whether the [the teen] was currently there or a patient.  She also refused to speak to us while being recorded.”

Operation Rescue president Troy Newman called this obstruction of police activity “disturbing, to say the least,” and said that this behavior has been a consistent pattern with this director – who has run South Wind since Tiller’s days.

Even after Vogt turned off his body camera, the director of the abortion mill still would not yield:  “We attempted to recontact the director of the clinic after a long wait,” said Vogt, whose efforts were fruitless.  “She refused to allow officers in and wouldn’t acknowledge whether [the teen] was there at the clinic.”

If abortion is safe and liberating, as proponents argue, what was South Wind Women’s Center trying to hide by actively obstructing authorities from entering their facility?
