Texas Right to Life PAC Endorses Governor Greg Abbott in 2026

Texas Right to Life PAC is proud to endorse Governor Greg Abbott for re-election in 2026. As governor, Abbott has been a leader for the protection of preborn babies and advancing bold Pro-Life policies that protect women, support families, and defend the vulnerable.

Governor Abbott placed Life at the forefront of two special sessions of the 89th Texas Legislature. His leadership created new opportunities to pass landmark legislation that strengthens our state’s Pro-Life framework. Most notably, Governor Abbott signed the Woman and Child Protection Act (House Bill 7), a historic law empowering citizens to hold accountable those who mail abortion-inducing drugs into Texas. This new policy helps to stop the flow of more than 19,000 abortion pills sent into the state each year.

In addition to the Woman and Child Protection Act, Governor Abbott signed five measures led by Texas Right to Life into law in 2025. These policies stop cities from using taxpayer dollars to fund abortion or abortion travel, promote adoption as a compassionate and life-affirming option, and provide vital support to families whose preborn children receive life-threatening diagnoses.

Governor Abbott’s record reflects a commitment to protecting the innocent at every stage and ensuring that Texas remains a national leader for Life. His leadership has delivered real, life-saving results for mothers and their babies across our state.
